God is leading us to go to South Korea as missionaries. We are praying for an area in the South Gyeongsang Province , an area in the southeastern part of Korea. This province includes Busan, the second largest city in Korea and is home to approximately 5 million people with not one Independent Baptist church in the entire area. 42% of this area’s population is Buddhist so it is one of the hardest places to reach people with the Gospel.
By God’s grace, we desire to start His ministry in Korea. We believe God can enable us to evangelize wherever He leads us, winning souls to Christ through tracts, door-to-door visitation, and church services. We plan to disciple new believers to “be able to teach others also” so that we can spread the Good News to as many people as we can. We also believe God can use many other ways for us to minister to Korean people, such as through weekly Bible studies, a Christ-honoring music ministry, a children’s ministry, an outreach in the local public schools, and a ministry teaching English as a second language.
